Communism was one of the political theories founded by Friedrich Engels and Karl Marx in the end of the 19th century . Both of these philosophers had the same point of view concerning the economic and political principles. Also, Communism brought up many changes to International Relations , and the body of the essay will describe the causes and results of Communism in Eastern and central Europe. In 1844 Engel and Marx started to discover interesting facts about Communism and no longer in 1848 they decided to write and publish ââ¬Ë Communism Manifescoââ¬â¢ , which was thought to be one of the best and influential political books ever. Australian Smartphone Industry Analysis â⬠Myassignmenthelp.Com
Question: Discuss About The Australian Smartphone Industry Analysis? Answer: Introduction Australia is a country surrounded by islands and ranked the sixth largest country worldwide. It is a rich country sourcing its wealth from various industries like mining, manufacturing plants of both communication and transport industry, agricultural produce processing, urban and rural sector, health, banking and finance and so forth (Francis, 2015). It can be mistakably judged that the countrys growth rate relatively matches its size but comparatively economic analysis proves otherwise that the GDP per capita is steadily hitting the peak of the mountain consequently poverty rates are at the low rate (Gorecki, 2010). The driving force of these advancements is due to improvements in the technology department for instance in communication top Smartphone companies like Apple, Samsung, HTC, Oppo, Vivo and other brands have been trying tirelessly to outrun the other from the market. This paper will provide a general critique of the Smartphone market in Australia as well as provide a brief discussion on the same. Discussion on Smart Phone Industry in Australia According to Gorecki 2010, Samsung and apple are battling a close range clash sale in the Australian market. Apple is still peoples favorite but consumers are also taking change stubbornly to android devices like Samsung. Upgrading from their previous phones may also be determined by the cost of the new gadgets to competitive comparative smart phones that are inexpensive especially the Chinese brands (Clark, 2000). The yarn of getting better products compared to their current one is a notable fact and understanding that both brands need to keep in mind. Samsung is leading profitably though not with a huge margin but still thats making it stand out. Its variety sleek features is also driving it to notice ability by its faithful customers and also new clients that and positively adhering to change. Samsungs compatibility to any other android phones makes transfer of information from one phone to another easy (Smith, 2016). Therefore iPhone users have to do away items like chargers, earphones, cases, apps and other accessories that are incompatible and however take along the few transferable ones but it will be a hustle of various procedures. However this makes android a more preferable peoples choice (Baldwin, 2000). They are easy to use comparative to iPhone that always come up with hidden icons in apps therefore taking long time to get absolutely conversant with it.Even though android are easy application familiarity experience one has to take note that they use open software systems thus making it exposed to cyber insecurities and viruses(Yoshikawa, 2011). In order to curb this menace immediately one acquires an android phone or iPod its best to download an antivirus application to frequently scan the device of any threats. Androids have a time conscience capability every time whether during charging or at locked screen unlike I phones. Making they even better are the inbuilt sensors when the phone is engaged at any motion (Spoonauer, 2017). In addition android have unlimited and free storage space thereby making management of files pocket friendly and good organizational skills of applications. In addition Samsung is one company that is systematic at its motives and comes up with a strategy to go around this (Miller, 2017). Expansion of operations and competitiveness this android company heavily invests in machinery, tools, labor and technology thus doing what other companies can hardly risk involve doing (Grobart, 2013). Unlike other brands, Samsung values quality over quantity to spearhead this it concentrates on quality control and management and also the working conditions of all its employees. The value Samsung has over it employees is so admirable. Each factory station works under a musical sooth specifically chosen by psychologists it is believed that it helps reduces stress levels and increase performance (Thomas, 2012). Work overall is also personally chosen according to preferences. Employees also enjoy the rejuvenating facilities offered to them such as fitness centers, sleeping dormitory, libraries, and coffee joints. With all these at their disposal high level of competence and efficiency to perform is required of them. Consequently, employees are also given a platform to voice out ideas and suggestions that bring about cost and time saving they are then rewarded with bonuses for this (Smith, 2016). Samsung deals with failure fast and personally if a manufacturing fault is detected it would not mind to them how many have already been made with the faults or area for distribution to they would immediately be destroyed and replaced. The Smartphone Mobile Industry Usage Data Both I-phone and android companies are taking a different approach of testing their markets and determining its flexibility (Grobart, 2013). Apple is taking a few uniquely designed approach whereas Samsung is doing it all manufacturing phones that are same but slightly different in the outside appearance and internal capabilities. Samsung makes this fast production of different device possible by studying their market and filling gaps experienced by the customers from previous devices and their future expectations (Clark, 2000). The one thing that Samsung has failed to outsmart its major competitor apple is the control of software which run on iOS in tablets and smart phones. IOS is an incorporation of both software and hardware systems and devices to work together. This high quality standard of systems has challenged Samsung to establishing a software development center which processes memory chips and cameras for both their products and others sold to other firms. But its frustrati ng to have a company that does not meet the apples software standards. Manufacturer 2016 units 2016 market share 2015 units 2015 market share Samsung 306,446 20.5% 320,219.00 22.5% Apple 216,064 14.4% 225850.00 15.9% It can be observed that android captured an 80% in 2016 and an estimating 77% in the previous year with a growth rate of 3.2%.The entry of more devices is set to increase competition in the markets (Baldwin, 2000). The quarter system of market analysis indicates that apple returned to its no 1 slot not only as a top Australian Smartphone vendor but also a global brand. The only discouraging facts are that the difference in margins are pretty narrow and can easily be overthrown by competitive brands. According to The Sydney Morning Herald by Hannah Francis 2015,android phones are breaking grounds in Australia with more than half percent of sales and its rival apple having a fall back of 41% and the resulting 5% constituted sales generated windows phone (Spoonauer, 2017). Nevertheless, these analyses do not dispute the fact apple still remains to be a suitable clientele choice and with this its still hopeful to attain its top rank over android. IPhone has released some of its new brands with a hope of getting back its glory but this only lasts a short while thus only means that these moves are just dubious and even better strategies need to be implemented by apple (Dixon, 2010). They have even considered taking note of price decrement on their phones in order to equivalent its competition with android. Conclusion Conclusively, with the head to head contest of launching new phones one after the other, Apple took the initiative to the release high-end quality smart phones that emerged successful and dominant in the market. However, it had to launch many promotional marketing strategies to be able to take a majority of sales in local markets of Australia. Apparently, the previous market dominance of iPhone was attributed to lack of competitive brands and unique apps stores such as i-tunes; but this is clearly not the case now. Consequently, the android application smart phones in Australian marketing took to reveal its next target in wearables challenging the apples smart watch. References Baldwin, C Clark, B. (2000). Understanding of Christian Sacraments
Different religions have different symbols, which denote different meanings that might be peculiar to a given religion. For instance, the Catholic Church has the rosary, which is the centre of their prayers. Most Catholics and orthodox churches have sacraments, which the pastors or the priests confer to the congregation.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Understanding of Christian Sacraments specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Each Christian church has its own form of a sacrament, which depend on how the pioneers of the faith interpreted the bible. Conventionally, the pastor, priest, bishop, or pope (incase of Catholicism and Orthodox) who confers the ceremonies to the congregation. The next discussion analyses the sacrament as the major symbol in the Christian religion highlighting the importance of the ceremonies. Significantly, the sacrament is a crucial religious practice in Christianity especially Catholicism. De pending on the religion sacrament can be in the form of Eucharist, baptism, repentance, confirmation, matrimony, orders, or extreme unction. All participants have to attend religious training on Christian virtues, the bible, and other moral practices in order to receive the sacraments (Gula Para.10). The sacrament of baptism precedes all the other seven. Therefore, the sacrament is a symbol of cleanliness or purity in Christianity. Baptism is through water whereby Christians believe that they are free from sins immediately after the ceremony. The sacrament of penance/repentance ensures that Christians promote love, peace, and unity in their relationships. The ceremony of sacrament usually takes place in a large congregation. In most cases, bread, the symbol of the body of Christ grace, the ceremonies. In the contemporary society, the sacraments promote humanity because staunch Christians strictly follow the religious teachings of the sacraments. Depending on the calendar of the chur ch, most Christians believe that, for any of them to succeed or prosper in life, s/he have to respect/practice the sacraments. Originally, the world had two common religions; Islam and Catholicism but the emergence of protestant churches has led to diverse doctrines about Christianity and more so the sacraments. Although the rate of participation of the ceremony of the sacrament is high, the participants in the protestant churches are less when compared to the catholic. The disparity lies in the perception that most of the catholic sacramental ceremonies are rituals and not based on Jesus Christ or Christian virtues (Reumann Para.4). Secondly, the attitudes and satisfaction of leadership and subsequent faith in churches also affects the participation in the sacraments. Sometimes most participants especially the youths do so if they have attended Christian based institutions.Advertising Looking for essay on religion theology? Let's see if we can help you! For instance, the sacrament of repentance/penance in the Catholic Church has drawn critical views from people. Catholics repent through their priest by reciting the following words ââ¬Å"Bless me, Father, for I have sinnedâ⬠(Gula Para.1). However, according to Protestants the death of Jesus enabled all Christians to communicate directly to God/Jesus and not through the priests or human beings. In addition, the variation of participation in the sacraments also depends at, which age a person started practicing his/her religion. For example, infants who are born within the religion may either drop or hold on it while new participants are likely to hold on it forever (Menninger 50). Commonly, the people who uphold the sacraments are elderly people and consistently participate in the other activities of the church. Finally, the bible sc riptures, which led to the establishment of the Sacraments, are the basis of Catholic and Orthodox faith. On the contrary, the protestant churches have specialized in the interpretation of the New Testament, which the worshippers strictly uphold. The sacraments of Christianity determine the personality and moral behavior of either a community or a person. Believers who practice the same sacramental ceremonies promote similar human and moral virtues. Through sacraments, Christians not only express their faith, but also practice sanctity (Neal 96). For instance, the sacrament of penance calls for repentance and reconciliation among the believers and communities. Therefore, any person who adheres to the doctrines will undoubtedly promote peace, love, and unity in the society. Secondly, the sacraments also promote a sense of belonging among the Christians. Each religion has a given symbol like attire, practice, or object, which is unique. Salvation is a crucial belief in Christianity; h owever, in Catholicism, an individual has to practice or celebrate all the sacraments to acquire salvation. Ideally, salvation not only promotes holiness but also purity, personality virtues like self-esteem, patience, and confidence among others. Therefore, sacrament ceremonies instill the virtues of Christianity in both communities and people who practice them. In summary, Christianity is one of the commonly practiced religions in the world. Protestant and catholic are the common churches in the world. However, although all the churches allude from the bible, the Catholics and Orthodox churches depend solely on the scriptures and Sacraments. The Protestants mainly elaborate the New Testaments relating their interpretation with the contemporary world. The Christians who depend on the sacraments promote their faith through rituals, but this has led to criticisms from the non-believers. The sacramental rituals shape the personality, behavior, and daily practices of the Christians.Adv ertising We will write a custom essay sample on Understanding of Christian Sacraments specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Works Cited Gula, Richard. Poitassium iodide as a radioprotector Research Paper
Poitassium iodide as a radioprotector - Research Paper Example One of the major health risks comes from radioactive forms of iodine element, which could be taken up by the thyroid gland, consequently causing cancers as well as other incapacitating illnesses (Robbins & Schneider, 2003). Potassium Iodide (KI) is a vital component of any emergency preparedness kit and is typically aimed at survival after the occurrence of a radiological or nuclear event. Potassium iodide provides stable iodine which serves to counteract the effects of radioactive iodine. Radioactive iodine is essentially a by-product of a nuclear accident or a nuclear attack (Santen et al., 2003). The human body needs iodine for the purpose of creating as well as regulating thyroid hormones. Upon the entry of the radioactive version of the salt into the air or when it pollutes food, the thyroid gland will absorb the poisonous and dangerous chemical, and this will lead to contamination internally. Potassium iodide contains stable iodide which could stop the absorption of radioactive iodine even for the period of a nuclear event or radiological event. It is noteworthy that the thyroid gland will become filled with stable iodine and it would not be able to process more salt for twenty-four hours. Whist table salt also has iodine; it does not offer an adequate dose that would help in blocking the absorption of radioactive iodine (Likhtarev et al., 2002). ... While the chemical serves to buffer the thyroid gland against poisoning, other body parts remain vulnerable to harm and injury. Radioactive iodine is just 1 of many particles and chemicals emitted into the air and food after a nuclear accident. Even though KI is certainly helpful, people must take caution and incorporate other medications and supplements in their emergency preparedness kits that are aimed at other health concerns. It is also notable that following the damage of the thyroid gland by radioactive iodine, KI is not able to reverse the damage (Santen et al., 2003). In spite of the increased levels of radioiodines that were detected in Poland following the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl in 1986, there were no further occurrences of thyroid illnesses in that region. This is primarily because the government of Poland dispensed roughly 18 million dosages of potassium iodide medicines in a manner that was well-timed, with virtually no adverse or serious effects on health (Sante n et al., 2003). Timing of the distribution of potassium iodide is essential since if administration of KI is held-up by just 4 hours following the exposure to radioiodines, its efficiency and success is cut by ?. This reality has major policy connotations as it implies that local governments need to store the drug within the local community instead of relying on the national/federal or regional stocks that may take days before reaching the affected populace. Iodine131 has a half life of just 8 hours, and this means that the time required by people for protection is somehow narrow (Kulinowski, 2011). After a nuclear accident, the merits of KI far outweigh any risks involved. The familiar side
